Tech continuing good showing in Houston

Whatever Louisiana Tech is selling, Houston-area recruits are buying.
The Kincaid School's Anthony Harrison is canceling his visits to Air Force and TCU over the next few weekends after visiting the sleepy town of Ruston, Louisiana - which lies seven miles from Grambling University and an hour from Monroe and Shreveport.

"It's a small town but it's near a lot of things," he said. "But I'm there to play football and work on my degree. They are on the quarter system, which I also like. I have a good chance to come in and play right away at tight end of linebacker.
"I haven't told them yet, but I've pretty much made up my mind," he said.
Harrison is a versatile athlete with a strong frame that can grow. He played both ways as a junior and senior at Kincaid and is more than an academic qualifier. He's already scored an 1,090 on his SAT.
"The coaches want me to come in June and start working with them," he said. "They wan me on the field for the first game against Florida."
Westside's Marcus Jackson and Humble's Jamaal Pettiford are also leaning towards Louisiana Tech after recent vistits.
