Tebow talks

St. Augustine (Fla.) Nease quarterback Tim Tebow is just hours away from his big decision, but took time to talk to Rivals.com quickly. The 6-foot-3, 217-pounder is just now narrowing down his list of schools and addresses some recent rumors regarding his decision.
"I'm just heading back home now and I'm going to talk things over with my parents about narrowing things down and calling a few schools to let them know I've done that."

Was Tebow in Gainesville this morning as many had heard.
"No sir I wasn't." He said.
What schools will be eliminated?
"Well, I'd like to tell the schools first myself so I don't know if that will come out before I decide," he said. "I don't want them to read about it before I can call them and it's going to be tough. Some of them are expecting it I'm sure, but it will still be hard."
How many hats will Tebow be bringing to the press conference?
"I'm not bringing any," he said. "I imagine ESPN will probably have some there for me, but I'd just assume say where I'm going and not deal with all that."
Tebow is excited to get the decision done.
"It's been a lot of fun and I've met a lot of nice people, but I'm ready," he said. "I'm just going to be myself and tell the truth and be as honest as I can be when making my choice."
Rumors till swirl that it will come down to Florida and Alabama, but Tebow has never cofirmed that. However, he did have 'Bama head coach Mike Shula in his house Monday for more than 12 hours.
"We talked a lot, broke down film and just got to know him a lot better as a family," he said. "That was the longest visit I've had but there was a lot to do and it was a good visit."
