Tebow all ready for CaliFlorida Bowl

ANAHEIM, California - It came down to two schools, Alabama and Florida, for five-star dual-threat quarterback Tim Tebow before making his televised commitment. The Rivals100 member and No. 1 rated dual-threat signal caller chose the Florida Gators and just a few weeks later he put the pads back on for the first time since the state championship to participate in the annual Air 7 CaliFlorida Bowl.
The 6-foot-3, 217-pound Tebow, rated as the No. 2 player in the state of Florida, was definitely one of the biggest prospects to walk on the field during this week's first official practice of the all-star game. The future Gator admits that he started off a little slow, but he already sees a spark in his squad like future college teammate Jarred Fayson.

"Yeah, it started a little sloppy, but then again I haven't thrown since that last high school game for the championship," Tebow said about his first practice with the Florida team. "I was happy with the effort everyone gave out there and I think that was positive. It's something we can take from day one."
Fayson and Tebow are rooming together for the CaliFlorida Bowl and they wasted no time talking about not only this week's game but their futures in the SEC.
"It's great because Jared and I can start working on stuff," Tebow said. "We've thought about and talked about everything, so we want to accomplish our chemistry right away."
The two Rivals100 members will not be the only talent on the field. There are numerous offensive weapons for Tebow to throw too. One thing is for sure, everyone seems to be on the same page mentally through the first day of practice.
The heralded recruit feels good that he's done with the recruiting process and found where he wants to go for the next four years.
"Man, it's nice," he said. "A lot of pressure is off and to be comfortable with the school I chose is amazing. I'm happy with it and now I can just get out here and represent Florida in the best possible way. I think that's how we all feel."
"We just want to represent our home and it's not really about proving anything. We just want to represent the best way we can. Plus, you want to have some fun too."
Tebow is rated as the No. 12 overall prospect in the country.
