Teams getting involved with Schultz

Dalton Schultz was one of the top tight ends at the New Level Athletics Elite 7on7 in Las Vegas and that was especially impressive since he's a 2014 prospect.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound recruit from South Jordan (Utah) Bingham already has an offer from Utah and said Cal has started to show increased interest as well.

"I just got a call from my coach telling me Cal was interested in me," Schultz said. "They haven't offered me yet but they're definitely showing a lot of interest.
"I haven't heard from Cal anytime before this. They called up my coach looking for recruiting information and he kind of went to bat for me and told them how well I did in Vegas."
Schultz said BYU, Colorado and Stanford are also getting more involved. He's highly interested in Stanford and is taking an unofficial visit there this weekend.
Since it's so early in the recruiting process, Schultz said he's nowhere near thinking about a commitment.
"I'm not sure if I'm going to commit because I want to keep my options open," Schultz said.
"I don't really want to commit to a college and then find out that something changed or my interest has changed and have that whole situation down the road."
Utah is definitely a contender for Schultz, who said his family has been fans for a long time and the Utes will definitely remain under strong consideration throughout his recruitment.
"I've always been a big fan of Utah," Schultz said.
"I grew up here and my family is big Utah fans. It would be a great place to go to college but I don't think I'm going to make my decision anytime soon but we're definitely big fans."
