Teams Gaining In Race For Bolston

Washington (D.C.) St. John's College Prep defensive tackle Conrad Bolston still has a leader, but others are closing the gap as he focuses on his senior season.
"Maryland is still on top for me, but some teams are just starting to recruit me hard," said the 6-foot-4, 265-pounder. "Boston College is probably second with North Carolina, NC State, Purdue, Penn State and Virginia also in there. I'm not going to worry about setting my visits until after my season."

Bolston estimates that he has more than 20 tackles and two sacks so far this season while being double and triple teamed. He's being recruited as a defensive tackle by most schools and as an end by Virginia.
"I prefer d-tackle because I'm better in close space and get better reads," he said. "But there will be a lot of factors that go into choosing a school. I don't want to think about it too much right now or I'll become cocky. During the season it's just about the team."
