Team takes priority for Miller

When fall practice starts, top prospects begin to put recruiting at the back and their team at the front. That is exactly the case for Rivals250 defensive end Von Miller.
The four-star DeSoto, Texas prospect has a number of schools on his mind and a top ten that includes the majority of his big scholarship offers. Right now, the focus is on the season and how he can improve as a senior.

"We just started practice yesterday and I really haven't been thinking about recruiting as much as I was in the summer," Miller said. "I mean it crosses my mind a little bit, but it's just the team right now."
Miller says that if he had to name some official visits he'd like to see Miami and Florida. He'd also like to visit two in-state programs as well.
"If I ever got offered by Texas, I would go visit them," Miller said. "I'm also definitely going to see Texas A&M as well."
All four of those schools are in his top ten along with Oklahoma, UCLA, USC, Oklahoma State, and Kansas.
"Hopefully after my official visits, when I take those, I'll have something determined," Miller said about a commitment. "I'm basically going to take my trips before I commit or anything."
Miller is rated as the No. 8 defensive end in the nation.
