Teague wakes up to big offer

Marsalis Teague woke up with some big news this morning. The Paris (Tenn.) High School standout received his 10th scholarship offer and it was a big one. Teague, 5-10 and 170 pounds, is being recruited at both wide receiver and cornerback.
"I woke up this morning to an (scholarship) offer letter from Michigan," Teague said. "I guess you could say I got excited. That's a big one. I got a letter from Michigan a few weeks ago and it said they were evaluating me. I had a little communication with them and then I got the offer today. I tried to call coach (Rod) Rodriguez but he was out. I am going to call him on Thursday.

"I am all for Michigan. I know they are trying to be a better program and run that same system that they had at West Virginia. It will be an interesting transition. I think it's also exciting for them. I don't even know what position they like me at but I am going to talk with them this week about it."
So where does the maize and blue fall in his college pecking order?
"Michigan is definitely in the mix. I also really like Miami, Clemson, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. I am going to try and make as many unofficial visits as I can this summer. I am going to Miami (June 13th-15th), Ole Miss (first weekend in July), and Tennessee and Vandy for sure. I would love to go to Clemson. I think Michigan will have to wait for an official visit."
So Marsalis, if you could wake up to an offer or two tomorrow morning, what school(s) would it be?
"I guess you could say Georgia… and LSU. That would be nice to wake up to."
