TE talks about his Notre Dame commitment
"I couldn't make a bad choice," tight end John Carlson said of his commitment to Notre Dame. "But I just felt Notre Dame was the best fit for me."

Carlson had narrowed things down to the Irish, Minnesota, Stanford, and St. Cloud State before selecting Notre Dame.
The 6-foot-6 and 220 pounder from Litchfield, Minn. caught 41 passes and scored seven times during his senior season.
