TE Sanders talks upcoming visits

Springfield (Ill.) Sacred Heart Griffin junior tight end prospect Jeff Sanders (6-foot-6, 235 pounds) right now is in South Florida with his family on a week long spring vacation. Sanders might be enjoying the sun and fun in Florida, yet Sanders is also getting geared up to check out several college spring events shortly.

"Right now we're at a mystery dinner theater," Sanders said. "Thanks for calling me, this way I can get out of trying to figure out the mystery and just focus on eating dinner when were done talking."

Sanders is enjoying his time away from the Midwest, yet Sanders will look to hit the road in a few weeks to witness several college spring events.

"I've gotta admit that I really miss this weather, it's been in the 80's and sunny here all week. I wish I could bring this weather back with me. I'm planning to have a really busy weekend on April 14 thru April 16th."

"On April 14th I'm going to Northwestern to check out a spring practice, then on April 15th I'm going down to Indiana. On Sunday the 16th I'm also going to Purdue for a spring event. Those are pretty much my spring plans for now, but I might try to squeeze one or two more unofficial visits in."

Sanders currently has an offer from Indiana, yet also admits that he hasn't checked his mail in nearly a week.

"I've heard that I have a lot of mail waiting for me when I get back home."
