TE Sanders talks latest recruiting news

Springfield (Ill.) Sacred Heart Griffin junior tight end prospect Jeff Sanders (6-foot-6, 235 pounds) has continued to draw steady recruiting interest and in school visitors during the early portion of the May evaluation period.
"Things have been going pretty well," Sanders said. "I know that I have 16 days left of school for this year, counting final exams."

Sanders, who has an early offer from Indiana, is starting to hear about several schools making in school visits.
"According to my head coach (Ken Leonard) both Ron Zook and my recruiting coach Tom Sims from Illinois made an in school visit recently. Also the coaches from Missouri have also made an in school visit. I've also heard from my coach that both Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt are planning to make in school visits soon. Indiana is also set to make an in school visit in May."
Sanders is also in the process of sorting out which colleges camps he'll hit this summer.
"We have a pretty busy team schedule this summer, so I'm just about ready to sit down and figure out which college camps I'll attend this summer. I want to go to at least a handful of one-day camps this summer. I'll have a better idea on camps in a few weeks."
