TE returns from trip

Richmond (Va.) Hermitage tight end Duane Brown just took his first official visit.
"I liked it a lot," said the 6-foot-5, 250-pounder of his official visit to Virginia. "I got to interact with all the players and see a lot of things up close.

"I sat in on player meetings and really just got to see how the players live and what they do during a game weekend," he said. "The game was awesome too. Seeing them beat NC State and watching the crowd go crazy was cool."
Brown was hosted by defensive back Lance Evans and quarterback Anthony Martinez. He also got to interact with the coaches.
"Coach Mike Groh is my recruiting coach and I got to spend some time with Al Groh as well," he said. "I was there with Fontel Mines so it was cool to take a visit with someone you know."
Both Brown and Mines will visit Virginia Tech on Nov. 29 and probably decide after that.
"I still like Maryland a little, but I'll probably be ready after Tech," he said. "Both Tech and UVA are dead even right now."
