TE Redman visits both of his verbals

Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson tight end Darius Redman is sitting on a pair of verbal scholarships. The 6-foot-4, 236-pounder is waiting patiently as the May evaluation period picks up.
"I'm hearing from Illinois, Virginia, Michigan State and Clemson," he stated. "West Virginia has offered verbally, North Carolina has as well. They both said I should come to a camp. They would like to see me run more."

Redman visited both of his verbals recently for unofficial visits.
"I went to West Virginia for a junior day and North Carolina's spring game," he said. "I liked the facilities at both. They were equally impressive.
"I liked the indoor gym at West Virginia and everything with football is close to each other. At North Carolina, I liked the presence at the spring game. There were a lot of fans there and they really support their team. I liked the coaches and the facilities."
Redman maintains no favorites at this time and maintains he plans to head out on more visits this summer. However, no trips are scheduled at this time.
The tight end recently took a visit to Penn State for the Nike Camp last week.
"I did great," he said. "I think it was my best performance out of all of my camps. I was in the zone there and I was catching all the passes and taking my time on my routes."
A solid student, Redman boasts a 3.4 GPA.
