TE one of Texas top athletes

Crowley (Texas) North Crowley tight end Jason Fox is a very good athlete in the Lone Star State for the Class of 2006. Not only does he help North Crowley on the gridiron, he also helps out on the basketball court.Fox, a 6-foot-7, 250-pounder, is the No. 80 rated basketball player in Texas according to TexasHoops.com for the Class of 2006.
"Things are going okay right now," Fox said. "I don't have any scholarship offers, but I do have some schools writing me and e-mailing me with information about their programs and schools.

"I have recently heard from Oklahoma State, TCU, SMU, Arkansas, Kansas State and Texas."
While nobody has offered, Fox does have one school at the top of his list.
"Texas is my favorite school right now," he said. "I am just taking it all in right now, though."
Fox has already been to Oklahoma State and SMU junior days this spring.
"I enjoyed the two junior days. I learned a lot about the schools and the programs and got to see some of the facilities. They were informative. I am looking at going to Oklahoma State, TCU and SMU for camps. I'm also going to go to the NIKE camp in Fort Worth in April. I went to Kansas State's camp last summer. My mother went to Kansas State, so I know a little bit about their school through her."
Fox has been playing tight end and tackle for North Crowley and has no preference on where he plays in college.
"I want on the field. That is the main thing. Oklahoma State has told me they are recruiting me for offensive line. SMU has said they are recruiting me for tight end. It doesn't bother me what position."
As a junior, Fox hauled in seven passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns.
