TE Nauta setting visit list

BRADENTON, Fla. - Isaac Nauta's five official visits are nearly in place. The four-star tight end recently broke his commitment to Florida State and now has four destinations on the schedule. He's set to hit TCU, Georgia, Michigan and USC this fall. That much is written in ink.
The fifth visit allotted to him, on the other hand, could still go a number of ways. Nauta has a short list of programs in mind on that front, but doesn't plan to say anything on stone just yet.
"Alabama is in the running," Nauta said. "Oregon is the running. Oklahoma State and Baylor are both in there. There are a couple of others."
Narrowing focus hasn't been easy for Nauta, who does not lack for suitors. His options are many, and after he announced his decision to break things off with the Seminoles via Twitter, all of said options came calling.
Hectic? You bet.
"Since I've decommitted, I've probably heard from every major school in the power 5," Nauta said. "Talking to me the most, though, it has to be Oregon, TCU, Georgia and Alabama."
According to Nauta, TCU was the first program to reach out to him following his separation from Florida State. And while Georgia is seen as the slight frontrunner to land the IMG Academy star, the Horned Frogs' persistence seems to be paying off.
"TCU is a school that throws the ball a lot. Coach [Gary] Patterson was kind of explaining to me that they're not really going to have anybody at my position. That's huge for me because I'm a guy that's going to play early and graduate from high school early. He was talking packages in to put my hand down and everything."
A high four-star prospecvt Nauta is ranked as the No. 1 tight end and No. 34 overall prospect in the 2016 class.
