TE Narrows List; Names Two Favorites

Alexandria (Va.) Mount Vernon tight end Justin Bell is still listing four teams, but he has two clear favorites right now.
"I still like Maryland and Virginia, but my two favorites are Virginia Tech and Pitt," said the 6-foot-3, 250-pounder. "Tech is my favorite even though Pitt just beat them which was a huge surprise."

Although the Panthers are hot, Bell likes Tech for specific reasons.
"They're a state school, and I like the way they're playing. They've got a couple of guys who're going to be around for a while and the coaches have been there forever.
"It's a good program overall, it seems like they never have a losing season. I also like how Coach Beamer came to the school and offered me, no other coach came to the school and actually offered me."
Bell doesn't have any official visits set just yet and is focusing on his season.
"We're 4-3 right now, and battling to get a spot in the playoffs. It's going to be real close. I'm doing good, a lot of teams put more pressure on me, but I still manage to get open."
Bell wants to visit Tech, Pitt and probably will take visits to Maryland and Virginia although he hasn't received offers from either just yet.
