TE Nabolotny lands new offer and visit

Glenbrook (Ill.) South two star ranked tight end prospect Michael Nabolotny (6-foot-6, 240 pounds) has landed a scholarship offer from the University of Illinois late last week. Nabolotny has also set an official visit to Illinois for January 21st.
"I received a call from the Illinois coaches late last week," Nabolotny said. "They want me to make an official visit as soon as I can, and they have also offered me a scholarship. I'm going to take an official visit to Illinois on January 21st."

Nabolotny is very excited to be getting late recruiting interest from the Illini.
"I'm very familiar with Illinois, and I'm also really excited about Coach (Ron) Zook. Illinois plays Big Ten football, plus it's a great school academically and it's pretty close to home. Those are just some of the things that stand out for me with the Illini."
Nabolotny has also changed a few of his official visit plans in January.
"I was scheduled to make an official visit to Ball State last weekend, but I canceled that visit. I've already have made official visits to Miami of Ohio and Northern Illinois, and after I make my official visit to Illinois on the 21st I'll make my final college choice. My final list includes Miami of Ohio, NIU and Illinois, and I'm also still hearing from Northwestern."
As far as favorites, Nabolotny seems still very open at this point.
"I'm getting closer to a decision, but I'm still sorting things out as well as looking hard at each school. We'll see how things go in early January."
