"I thought that the Notre Dame camp went well, and I also had a lot of fun at Notre Dame. I was able to take a tour of the campus as well as a tour of the facilities, and I was also able to talk with the coaches at Notre Dame again. The camp was no pads, so I worked on several drills as well as learning some technique. The coaches at the Notre Dame camp had me work all day with the offensive line. Notre Dame is recruiting me as an offensive lineman, so I was able to improve my overall blocking techniques at the camp."
McAvoy will now give his college options some serious thought this summer.
"I'm pretty happy with the options I have right now, so I'm definitely going to give some thought this summer to my favorites. Right now everyone is really even and equal, but I would like to make my final decision before the start of the season this fall."
