Junior to Watch: Matt Sherry
School: Rumford (R.I.) Bishop Hendricksen

Position: Tight end/defensive end
Size and speed: Sherry is 6-foot-5 and weighs 230 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds.
Statistics: Sherry had 10 receptions for 200 yards and four touchdowns as a junior.
Honors: n/a
Favorite Schools: Boston College, Syracuse, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Harvard, Yale.
Skinny: Sherry is a talented tight end who has good hands and is an excellent blocker.
“I wasn’t used in the offense that much last season because we had Will Blackmon,” he said of his ex-teammate and Boston College signee. “I was mainly a blocking tight end but I hope to get the ball more next year.”
Sherry will camp at Boston College and Syracuse this summer and is getting mail from around 15 different schools. Both of his parents went to Boston College, so the Eagles have the inside track.
