TE Likes Big East

Rumford (R.I.) Bishop Hendricksen tight end Matt Sherry has good size and speed for his position and has his eyes on two Big East schools.

"I like Boston College and Syracuse a lot," said the 6-foot-5, 230-pounder who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. "I've wanted to go to BC since I started going to games when I was like five years old. I was also very impressed with Syracuse, the facilities and coaches when I visited there last winter."

Sherry is also interested in Harvard, Dartmouth and Villanova and hoping early film draws some offers.

"I don't have any visits set up yet," he said. "I'm looking for a good balance between athletics and academics and a lot will depend on who offers. I'll hopefully decide after I take some visits."
