TE Hiben starts looking at his options

Chaska, (Minn.) tight end prospect Joey Hiben (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) from Waconia High School has begun to start to narrow down his favorite schools this summer as well as starting to look harder at his college options.
"Things are about the same since we talked last," Joey Hiben said. "I haven't been able to get ahold of the coaches at Notre Dame, so I'm not sure where I stand with them. I've also started to look at some of my options as well as starting to look harder at each program."

Hiben talked about setting his favorite schools list.
"I'm planning to hopefully narrow down my Top 5 favorite schools by the start of my senior season. I start my team camp next week, so after my team camp is over I'm going to really focus in on things and come up with a Top 5 list."
Hiben, who back in the spring had hoped to make his final college choice by the start of his senior year, is moving back that time-frame.
"I'm just not in any rush to make that choice now. It's just too early for me to make a decision that big at this point. I'm planning to take at least a few official visits after the season before I decide."
Joey Hiben has scholarship offers from Minnesota, Central Florida, Kansas, Indiana, Colorado State, Colorado, Purdue, Stanford, Missouri, Northwestern, Boston College, Texas Tech and Colorado.
