TE Hiben shooting for a state title

Chaska, (Minn.) tight end prospect Joey Hiben (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) from Waconia High School has qualified for two events in this Friday's track state finals, and Hiben has also landed his 12th scholarship offer from Central Florida.
"Things have been going pretty well," Joey Hiben said. "I received an offer from Central Florida on Monday, and I've also qualified for the state finals in track."

"I've qualified in both the 110 meter high hurdles and the shot put. I just missed out on qualifying in the 300 meter dash, it was a photo finish and I guess the photo didn't go my way. I'm still pretty excited about getting a chance to compete in the state finals starting on Friday."
Hiben is also looking towards his summer camp plans as he finishes his track season this weekend. "I'm planning on camping next week at the U (Minnesota) for maybe one or two days. I'm also planning to camp at Boston College for a full camp from June 18th through the 21st. I'm really looking forward to seeing Boston College as well as the whole city. I'm not sure about any other camps at this point, because I have my team camp and several 7 on 7's this summer."
Joey Hiben has scholarship offers from Central Florida, Kansas, Indiana, Colorado State, Colorado, Purdue, Stanford, Missouri, Northwestern, Boston College, Texas Tech and Colorado.
