TE Hiben recruiting interest is in overdrive

Chaska, (Minn.) tight end prospect Joey Hiben (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) from Waconia High School has added four more scholarship offers over the last week, and Hiben is now holding 11 offers this spring and counting.
"I've received scholarship offers from Kansas, Indiana, Colorado State and Colorado since we last talked," Joey Hiben said. "It's been great to receive so many early offers and options."

Hiben, who is getting ready for his conference track meet this week, has also been drawing tons of phone calls and college coaches into his school. "On Monday night I received 6 calls, and on Tuesday night I received 4 more calls. The phone has been really busy, and the coaches have been fun to talk to, but at times it's been very hard to keep track of who's been calling. I would say that we've had at least 20-25 college coaches in our school over the last few weeks."
Hiben in all honesty hasn't really even given much thought to narrowing his list or naming any favorites at this point. "I'm really focused on my track season, and once the track season is over, I'll start to think about schools. I'm shooting to narrow things down sometime in June."
Joey Hiben has scholarship offers from Kansas, Indiana, Colorado State, Colorado, Purdue, Stanford, Missouri, Northwestern, Boston College, Texas Tech and Colorado.
