Flander talked about his Penn State camp.
"The Penn State camp went very well I thought. The coaches at Penn State had a lot of good things to say to me after the camp, and they want me to stay in touch with them this summer. The camp was a no-pads camp, so we did a lot of drills and testing. I was able to work with coach (Bill) Kenney a lot at the camp, and we really got along well. The coaches at Penn State are great, and I also really enjoyed the entire campus and the facilities, It was a really good way to end my summer camps."
One of Flanders favorite camp memories come compliments of the University of Miami camp.
"The Miami camp was pretty crazy, and the camp had a ton of kids. The one thing I remember from the Miami camp was how intense the camp was and how competitive that camp seemed. The kids at the Miami camp really helped me turn things up a few notches, and football is just a very different game in Florida."
Flander, who has an offer on the table from Iowa State has also been given a deadline by the Cyclones staff.
"The coaches from Iowa State have asked me to make my decision regarding their offer by the end of July, and I'm fine with that. It seems like I have had the ISU offer forever, and it's only fair to let them know where they stand."
