Goose Creek (S.C.) Stratford tight end Moe Thompson used to be a South Carolina lean, but recent events have changed that.
“I like North Carolina the best right now,” said the 6-foot-4, 255-pounder. “I like the coaching staff a lot and the win over Florida State was amazing. I liked them the best before that game, but it didn’t hurt.”

Thompson also lists Florida State, South Carolina, Clemson and Georgia but it seems he’s North Carolina’s to lose.
“I’m going to be at the South Carolina game this weekend to see them play Alabama,” he said. “I still don’t have any official visits set up yet. I’ll probably decide in January and take official visits in December.”
