TE Devlin takes in two unofficial visits

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Mt. Lebanon tight end Andrew Devlin has taken a couple unofficial visits in the past two weeks to Pittsburgh and Maryland. The 6-foot-6, 255-pounder had good visits to both schools.
"It was nice to go back to Pittsburgh again, it's my hometown team," he said. "I saw the spring game there and they looked real good. I think they are going to surprise a lot of people this year and they have a great incoming recruiting class. As far as tight ends, the thing that stood out to me was that they were not only great athletes, but smart too. They knew all the plays and have good speed."

Recently the tight end prospect headed to College Park to check out the Terrapins too.
"My visit there was great and I got to walk around campus, talk to the coaches and check out the facilities," he said. "I met with coach Ray and Friedgen and they were great guys. My father and I talked with coach Friedgen for about 30 minutes and it was a good conversation. He talked to us about everything including football, school, coaches and more."
Despite visits to schools this spring, Devlin claims no favorites at this time.
"I have about 12 offers and I don't have any favorites yet," he said. "I'd like to make a decision early before the season starts at the end of August if I can, but if I can't find the right school then I'll wait."
On May 12th, Devlin plans to make a trip out West to California to check out UCLA and Stanford.
"I've got offers from both of those schools and I just want to go visit the campuses, check out the academics and meet some of the coaches if I can."
