TE Devlin picks up his second offer

Tight end Andrew Devlin out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Mt. Lebanon picked up his first offer from the Pitt Panthers back in December. The 6-foot-5, 255-pounder just received his second offer in the last couple weeks.
"I got an offer two weeks ago from Rutgers," he said. "I was actually really surprised by it because before that I had only received one or two letters from them. I really know nothing about them, but I can say it's good to have the handwritten offer."

Recently teams including Stanford, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Georgia and much of the Big Ten have shown interest in Devlin. He confirmed that he still has no favorites at this time.
"It's too early to begin naming favorites as I have to gather more information on all the schools," he said. "I'm just looking for somewhere that has a great atmosphere and good academics. I'm looking to go into pre-med or biology in college."
For Mt. Lebanon last season, Devlin hauled in 12 catches for 100 yards helping his team to an 8-4 record. What makes him stand out over other tight ends?
"I really think it's my intensity," he said. "If you meet me I'm a real nice guy that's good to be around, but on the field I change. Besides that, I think I have real good feet because of basketball and very good awareness."
Currently Devlin has no combines or camps scheduled.
