TCU lands All-American commit
San Antonio (Texas) Taft receiver Otis McDaniel ended the suspense when he announced his college decision between TCU and Purdue? So which team got lucky at the U.S. Army All-American Game in San Antonio?
“I’m going to TCU,” McDaniel, a three-star receiver that is 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, said. “I’m really excited about my opportunities there. It’s a great program and it’s a great fit for a player like me.”

McDaniel visited TCU back on December 19 and was also highly recruited by Purdue, Texas Tech, Wisconsin and several others.
He narrowed his final two to Purdue and TCU, but in the end he wanted to stay near family and friends and play in the great state of Texas.
