TCU commit has change of heart

Something about DaWaylon Cook's commitment to TCU didn't feel right. It didn't take long but the 6-foot-2, 187-pound cornerback out of Samuell High School in Dallas got things straightened out an now he's headed a few miles down the road
"I decommitted from TCU and I changed my commitment to UNT, Cook said.

The change of heart came down to the gut as things just felt right at North Texas.
"I had taken a visit down to TCU and it just didn't feel right," he said. "When I took my visit to North Texas, I just knew that that was the place"
Cook has a very short and very simple list of things that attracted him to North Texas.
"Everything," he said simply. "They want to start me out at cornerback and go from there. I am excited"
While Cook feels good about his new commitment to the Mean Green, he is not completely ruling out other schools.
"I'm going to take my other visits," he said.
"I have three more visits left. I don't know where I'm going to go, or when, but I'm going to take all of them."
