Taylor stills has UNC on top

Springdale (Md.) Flowers tight end Monte Taylor holds two offers. Interest is picking up for the 6-foot-3, 235-pounder as he's putting together a big season so far.
"I don't have any other offers, I still have North Carolina and Western Michigan on the table right now," he said. "I'm trying to take an official, but we kind of have a game every week, so I'm waiting until the season is over."

Taylor is receiving other interest.
"Ohio is looking at me, Penn State is sending me stuff, Pittsburgh and a few others. They are just sending messages."
Still, Taylor maintains North Carolina stands out.
"I'm still favoring North Carolina," he said. "I just like the atmosphere and I just have a feeling about them, there's something about North Carolina that I don't know. They have a winning program and I like the tradition. They have good academics and are the No. 3 public school, I'm trying to go for communications, so I think that'd be the best fit for me."
Through four games this season, the two-star prospect has helped his team to a 4-0 record as he's posted 25 tackles, nine sacks and two blocked field goals, recovering one. He also has one reception for 15-yards.
"I've seen a little bit of a difference this year. My coach tells me I'm more explosive than last year."
