Taylor solid yet with Tulane

Alief (Texas) Taylor linebacker Cheta Ozougwu is still looking over all of his options.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder says he remains committed to Tulane and took a visit to check out the school officially on Jan. 12. After that, he took a trip to another school and has plans to see one more before things are all said and done.

"I went to Louisiana Tech after my Tulane visit," Ozougwu said. "The coaches are coming down this Thursday. It's coach Derek Dooley who's coming. I'll call him the 'action man' because he's changing a lot of things down there."
Ozougwu says that Tulane has expressed that he not take any other visits. Rice is a new school though that made an in-home visit. Playing time seems to be big factor for Ozougwu when he thinks about Rice.
"They're going to run a 4-2-5 defense and they're short on defensive ends at Rice," he said. "I would be guaranteed to play four years and they're academics are great. My mom and dad loved talking with the coaches. They want me to come for a visit this weekend, so I think I'm going to do that."
"I'm still committed, but Rice is looking good too now."
