Taylor planning two trips

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) University School wide receiver Dionte Taylor says he had just one thing on his mind as he went to bed on Friday night leading up to Saturday's South Florida Express tryouts.
"When I am going to bed the night before, all I can do is think about how I can't wait to wake up and get out there," Taylor said of the tryouts. "It is definitely a pleasure. It is something that I look forward to.

The 6-foot, 165-pound wideout felt he performed well during Saturday's tryout.
"I know that events like this one in particular are going to have some of the best players in the area, so I like to come out and get the work against those guys to see where I stand," Taylor said. "I felt I did a good job."
Taylor says that he has been receiving interest from Boston College, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan State, and Nebraska. He claims early offers from Boston College, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Marshall, and Miami of Ohio.
He plans to hit the road in the coming weeks to check out a few of the schools showing interest in him.
"Me and like six of my teammates plan to go to the one at UF on February 18th and Florida State on the 25th," Taylor said. "I know I want to see all of the in-state schools. I want to go to all of their Junior Days. As far as the out-of-state ones, it would probably be Georgia and Boston College."
Taylor claims no leader at this time.
