On day one Taylor visited Maryland and Penn State.
"The visit to Maryland was good," said the 5-foot-10, 168-pound Taylor. "They showed me around and I saw the facilities. They also told me about their deal with Under Armour. Everything on the campus is really close so I wouldn't have to go far between classes. I only got to talk to one coach because everyone wasn't there.
"I got to Penn State pretty late but all of the coaches were there waiting for me when I got there," he said. "That was pretty cool to have them waiting for me. They were telling me that I'm so young right now so I should enjoy the process. They showed me a lot of stuff on a highlight video and I got to talk to coach Franklin also. I know they're doing really well in recruiting with coach Franklin there now."
Taylor's last stop before returning home was Ohio State where he picked up an offer from the Buckeyes.
"When they were showing me around me around I was talking with coach Zack, who has been to my school before, and he told me I got an offer," Taylor said. "He said they loved my highlight tape. They were talking to me about the academics up there, the tradition and all the stuff they have to do on campus. I didn't get to see a ton of the campus though."
Taylor is scheduled to compete at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by Under Armour in Baltimore at M&T Bank Stadium.
