Tate talks Arizona commitment

Khalil Tate said he is perfectly content with his Arizona commitment even though the Wildcats took a second quarterback in the last couple weeks.
The three-star prospect from Gardena (Calif.) Serra is a tremendous athlete who has a passion to play quarterback, Arizona fostered that throughout the recruitment and Tate said Sunday at the Tom Lemming photo shoot that it's the right fit for him.

Santa Margarita (Calif.) Tesoro four-star Devon Modster is the other quarterback that has committed to the Wildcats.
"I'm happy with it," Tate said. "I have no worries at all.
"He and I know about each other. We're cool with each other so there are no hard feelings."
The Serra prospect loves the coaching staff and the Arizona campus and he feels he's a perfect fit in the Wildcats' spread offense because of his athleticism and playmaking ability.
Wherever he would go there would be competition so he's fine with Arizona taking two quarterbacks in this recruiting class.
"One of the main reasons I picked them is because they wanted me as a quarterback," Tate said. "A couple schools did but they really made me a priority as a quarterback.
"Also, it's just the way I feel when I touch down on the campus. I feel like I'm at home so you want to go where you feel at home.
"We run a similar offense at Serra. That's what the coaches have been telling me - if I thrive in that offense at Serra then Arizona will be the same."
Tate's recruitment has not slowed down one bit. The three-star said Nebraska and Texas A&M have been especially aggressive recently and he's also still hearing from Oregon State, USC, Boise State and Washington State.
