Tapp Cancels Trip
Whether he plays defensive end or outside linebacker, Darryl Tapp of Chesapeake (Va.) Deep Creek is a wanted man. With offers already in hand from Maryland, Florida, Virginia Tech and Virginia, Darryl will take his time in making his decision. One school that might now be out of the picture is Florida.
“I was supposed to visit this weekend, but I canceled at the last minute,” said the 6-foot-2, 225-pounder.

"The coach from Florida that had been recruiting me was fired late in the week,” said Tapp. “I just thought it would be better for me to cancel and maybe set a visit up at a later date.”
Darryl has already visited Maryland on Dec. 14 and has visits scheduled for Virginia Tech on Jan. 18 and Virginia on Jan. 25.
Will there be room left for a Florida visit?
"I'm not sure right now. I need to get to know the new coaches at Florida a little better before I do anything. I'm still set with my next two visits and I might only need the three visits to decide."
