Tannor was offered by Georgia and he made a promise to Kirby Smart

LITHONIA, Ga.Caleb Tannor is getting some SEC love. Missouri, Georgia and Tennessee, in that order are the last three schools to off the 6-foot-3, 235 pound junior out of Lithonia (Ga.) Miller Grove.

Over the weekend, Tannor drove about an hour east to Athens (Ga.) to visit the University of Georgia. He entered without an offer. He left with one.

Kirby Smart sat down with the three star during his visit and Tannor discusses that with Rivals in this video interview below.

A FEW QUOTES FROM THE INTERVIEW...

"Coach Smart gave it (the offer) to me," said Tannor. "It was us walking to his office and he took us to this secret room. We could see the indoor facility through the glass window and we were sitting down talking and he said that he was going to offer me, but I have to promise to come to camp.

"It is really a big deal for me to have the offer because my dad really wants me to go to Georgia because of the program and that is close to home.

"The coaches are great and they make you feel at home. It is a place you want to be.

"He (Kevin Sherrer, outside linebackers) is a cool person, but I can tell when it is game-day, he knows how to turn it up.

"They (Georgia) is up there. They are on the list [of favorites]. It is going to be a tough decision."

RIVALS REACTION: Next up for Tannor is a visit to Auburn on Thursday. The Tigers are expected to offer. He heard from Alabama for the first time this week as well, so keep an eye on the Crimson Tide. At this time, Georgia and Tennessee are two schools that really have his attention and it could come down to those two in the end. He could be ready to make a decision before his senior season begins. Georgia really made a strong impression over the weekend, his family loves the Dawgs and UGA being close to home only helps them when it comes down to it.
