Tandy considers commitment

Edward Tandy already has an offer from Cal and now that the B2G Elite Camp has ended the three-star linebacker from Tustin, Calif., is hoping his recruitment picks up even more.
The 6-foot, 220-pound inside linebacker said that he's been hearing from Washington, Washington State and UCLA and that he's still open to all programs.

"Hopefully after this camp I can turn some heads and get some more offers," Tandy said. "I was going to visit Cal in late July and I'll take that visit. I was thinking maybe Colorado, too."
Tandy, one of the top defensive performers at the B2G Elite Camp at Cal Lutheran, said that the Golden Bears have kept in touch with him over the years and that he's consider a commitment.
Before he makes any decisions, though, Tandy wants to play out the recruiting process a little longer to get a sense of which programs are going to get involved.
"(Cal) showed interest my freshman year, just looking at me, because they saw me play against Orange Lutheran," Tandy said. "They stuck around, kept eyeing me and seeing how I was doing and had faith in me.
"It's a great academic school. I actually care about my academics. I don't care if the football team isn't on top right now. Hopefully I can help them out and we can rise up and be something.
"I'm thinking about committing but I want to keep my options open and see what happens."
