Tampa QB to visit Syracuse

Tampa (Fla.) Blake two-star dual-threat quarterback Micah Brown has worked hard at narrowing his list down to a final five and after months and months of deliberation, he’s got his final five.
“I’m going to visit Syracuse this weekend, South Carolina next weekend,” he said. “And then I’ve decided to visit some smaller schools, too. I’m going to visit Fort Valley State on January 23 and then Tennessee State the weekend after that. Clemson would be my fifth visit.”

Why the sudden interest in the smaller schools?
“Well, Ft. Valley State is a really good Division II program,” he said. “It’s a good option for me to look at. At first I wasn’t so sure about them, but they’ve really started to grow on me. I could also go there and play right away.”
Brown did admit that he’s still high on Syracuse and South Carolina and he has offers from all of those teams, but in the end he’s going to go with the school that he feels most comfortable at.
“The visits will be key for me,” he said.
