Tampa QB has three offers

Tampa (Fla.) Plant is home of up and coming quarterback Stephen Reaves. The 6-foot-2 and 190 pound standout is son of former Florida Gator quarterback John Reaves. He already has three offers, and he’s looking for some new ones from his favorites.
“I have offers from Wake Forrest, Minnesota and Connecticut,” Reaves said. “My top schools are Miami, Florida, Purdue, Central Florida and Wake Forrest. Miami is my favorite.”

Reaves earned a spot on the all-conference and all-country teams as a junior by passing for 1,863 yards and 18 touchdowns as junior. He’s hoping that his excellent performance as a junior, and a strong-showing at some football camps this summer will help him get some more offers.
“Miami, Purdue, and Central Florida have told me that they are thinking about offering me,” Reaves said. “Today, I’m heading over to the Central Florida’s one-day camp, and I’ll be attending Miami’s camp on June 22nd.”
Reaves has had the benefit of having a dad that has professional football experience. His father has been helping him with his quarterbacking skills since he was a young boy.
“My father has been working with me since I was 10-years old,” Reaves said. “He has helped me with my mechanics and reading defenses. He also gives me some advice on the recruiting process; however he leaves most it up to me.”
