Tampa LB/RB Adding Offers

Tampa-Hillsborough linebacker/running back Ronnie McCullough is one of the top prospects from the Tampa Bay area this year and he has a few new offers to report now that the May evaluation period is coming to a close.
"I'm talking with coaches (on the phone) almost everyday now," McCullough said. "I've been offered by Pittsburgh, Purdue, UCF, USF, and FAU. I know Northwestern said they would probably be offering me within the next week. I also have offers from Rutgers and I think Virginia.

"They've been coming to the high school and calling me. I think we had 59 schools at last count who came."
McCullough can play several different positions and he said the schools each have different ideas of what the best spot will be for him in college.
"Different schools want me to play different positions. Some want me at inside linebacker, some want me outside, some want me as a running back and some as a fullback. When I choose (a school) I think I'll go wherever I'll fit best for the scheme."
McCullough, who is 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, is keeping an open mind regarding the recruiting process.
"I still don't have any favorites," McCullough said. "I like all of them. I'm interested in anyone interested in me."
Hillsborough High School finished spring practice with a jamboree last Thursday against Chamberlain.
"I did okay," McCullough said. "I don't have the team that I did last year and in the years previous. We have a whole new offensive line, quarterback, and offensive scheme but we did pretty good. We tied the state finalist, 7-7."
Ronnie McCullough will attend a few camps this summer but he's still deciding where.
"I plan on going to some camps," McCullough said. "I'm not exactly sure which ones I'm going to go to but me and my dad will sit down and talk. At least one or two so I can compare myself to other players."
