Tallahassee-Rickards is home to several recruits this year including defensive tackle Kevin Lockhart. Sizing up at 6-foot-1 and 260 pounds, Lockhart has verbal offers from Kentucky and Tennessee State.

"We've had a lot schools come through here," Lockhart said. "I have a lot of schools really interested."
In addition to UK and TSU, Lockhart said Tulane, Georgia Tech, Clemson, UCF, and Valdosta State are showing the most interest at this point. His favorite schools?
"FSU, Miami, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, and pretty much all the major schools around Florida," Lockhart said.
Lockhart plays both sides of the line for the Rickards Raiders and more than likely he projects as a noseguard at the next level.
"From what I'm understanding they're all saying defensive tackle," Lockhart said. "Middle linebacker might be an option but I don't know."
Lockhart, who says he has always been a fan of Florida State, finished his junior season with 87 tackles. He has a 3.3 grade point average and runs the forty-yard dash in 4.83 seconds.
"I'm going to look at education because I want a school with a good business program," Lockhart said. "I also would like to be on TV so I'll get notoriety at the same time."
Lockhart said he plans on attending football camps at Florida State and Alabama, and possibly the UCF and Tulane camps.
