"Our offense didn't pass much in the first two games," Michael said. "We just opened it up in the last one."
He has offers from Texas A & M, North Texas State, Miami, Colorado State, and Bowling Green.
"Bowling Green calls every other day, and their coach has been the most impressive I've talked to," Marshall said.
"They (Miami) have good receivers, and it's closer to home." [Michael said he still thinks of home as Florida.]
Distance is not really going to be a factor, as he's mainly looking for good educational prospects and a shallow depth chart, where he'll have a good chance to play as a true freshman.
He's attended camps at Texas Tech, Tarrolton, Notre Dame and Bowling Green.
He has no visits set and doesn't plan to set any til after the season.
He will make his decision by late January.
Michael is a Florida State fan, but Bowling Green is the leading candidate for his receiver services.
Michael said of his strong points - "My height advantage, and I have pretty good speed. I only need one or two steps on a defender."
He describes himself as - "A contributing team player" and compares himself style wise to his cousin, receiver Bobby Brown of the Cleveland Browns and Randy Moss of the Minnesota Vikings.
He plans to major in criminal justice and said, "the NFL is a goal, definitely a top goal, but you have to have something to fall back on."
When asked about a toughest opposing player, he said, "I really can't thing of one, because no high school cornerback can match up. Most of them are too short, and I'm six six."
