Talented TE has 10 offers

The 2002-2003 recruiting class produced a large crop of talented tight ends, but this years class isn't too bad either. One of the best is Rory Nicol. Schools have already taken notice, and he has ten offers.
"I've already got offers from Syracuse, Pitt, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, Duke, Northwestern, Akron and Toledo," said the 6-foot-5, 238-pound tight end and defensive end from Beaver (Pa.) Beaver Area. "In the near future my coach and I are expecting me to receive offers from Iowa, Stanford and Georgia Tech as well."

Nicol carries a 3.5 GPA and has already scored a 1,020 on the SAT, and it's evident with his intelligence on the field.
"I pride myself in my work in the classroom as well as on the field, so I'm honored that so many great schools academically are interested in me."
So where is Nicol planning on camping over the summer?
"I have decided not to camp this summer at this point," said Nicol. "I have so many offers already so I don't want anyone to feel like I'm ruling them out because I chose to camp at one place rather than another. Unfortunately, I won't be attending the Nike combine either because of a conflicted track schedule."
Nicol excels at track as well as on the football field. He runs the 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles and throws discus. He bench presses 285 pounds and squats 465. Does he have any favorites?
"Honestly I feel it is unfair for me to list favorites right now because I haven't seen all the schools that have offered me. Unofficially I've visited Pitt, West Virginia, Syracuse, Penn State and Ohio State."
