Talented RB Knows What He Wants

Goose Creek (S.C.) Stratford running back Rodney Kinlaw is one of the top players in the state of South Carolina this recruiting year. And while his top five doesn’t change much, he certainly knows what he wants in a school.
“My top five are Penn State, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, South Carolina, and Clemson,” said the 5-foot-10, 177-pounder. “I have offers from everyone except NC State and they said I should be getting an offer soon.”

Kinlaw has taken no visits this fall, unofficial or official, but did attend camp at three of his favorites, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Clemson. He plans to set up official visits to each of his five favorites.
"I'm looking for a rising program. One where I think I could compete for a conference or even a national championship and I think all five of these schools are in that category.
"I'm looking for a place with strong academics, that's big with me and will be a major factor in my decision. I'm going to take all of my visits and see how things go and narrow it down to three and then decide from there. I will decide after I have taken all of my visits. It will probably come sometime in January when I make my decision."
Kinlaw scored four touchdowns in his last game, a 42-21 win over Fort Dorchester.
