Tai hearing from Pac-12 programs

Albert Tai had a big junior season and the Riverton, Utah inside linebacker has started to hear from some Pac-12 programs.
The 6-foot, 220-pound prospect who finished with 109 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions in his junior season said UCLA, Oregon State, BYU, Utah, Arkansas, Stanford and some others have reached out so far.

His brother, Sam, plays for the Bruins so Tai said he'll definitely take a look at that program. He wants to talk with the new coaching staff as soon as possible.
"My brother goes there so I was real close with coach (Clark) Lea but the new coach cleaned house," Tai said. "I haven't really talked to any of the new coaches or anything but my brother talked to them for me."
Tai took an unofficial visit to Utah during the season for its game against Oregon State and he said he loved the environment. The Riverton, Utah standout said the Utes are of definite interest and he's also planning trips to BYU and possibly Oregon State in the near future.
"It was during the season when (Utah) played Oregon State," Tai said. "They took us around and I really liked the weight room and they showed us all the new stuff that they're planning on adding to the program. The environment was really great.
"My uncle was up at Oregon State and he talked to the coaches and my mom said we had a cousin play for them. They want me to come out and see the campus and go to the one-day camp so we'll see about that."
Tai said he's also highly interested in Stanford and he recently sent film to the coaching staff. He hopes to hear back from them soon and that will determine whether he visits this off-season.
In the 2011 recruiting class, Sam Tai picked UCLA over offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Colorado State, Fresno State, Idaho, San Diego State, UNLV, Wyoming and others.
