Boss Tagaloa has received his fair share of early recruiting attention, and it picked up in a big way again when he landed his first Pac-12 offer.

The 2016 lineman from Concord (Calif.) De La Salle was offered by UCLA this weekend and Tagaloa said he was surprised and definitely excited since he's followed the Bruins for years.
"One of my coaches is a family friend," Tagaloa said. "He called me and told me that UCLA wanted to offer. We went on a three-way call and that's how they offered me. It was kind of a surprise.
"I've always been a fan of UCLA since I've been young. It was really exciting to get that offer."
The 6-foot-3, 286-pound lineman said UCLA has offered him as a defensive tackle. He can also play offensive guard.
He was one of the top linemen for powerhouse De La Salle in its state championship loss to Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco a few months back.
So far, Tagaloa has been offered by UCLA and Ole Miss. The 2016 prospect said Alabama and Notre Dame are showing the most interest. He is not related to former four-star lineman Freddie Tagaloa.
Since he still hasn't even finished his sophomore year, Tagaloa said he's in no rush to make a decision and wants to play out the recruiting process for a while.
"I'm still going to take things slowly," Tagaloa said. "I have two more years so it should be good."
