Tabb trims his list to eight

Three-star New Jersey tight end Jack Tabb has fielded countless questions about the recruiting process in recent months.
He has often been asked whether he has narrowed his list down, and until recently he resisted the pressure to do that, remaining totally open to any schools that might show interest.

Now the 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end from Red Bank (N.J.) Catholic has trimmed his list to eight.
"UNC, Michigan, Florida, Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Rutgers and Arkansas," Tabb said, listing the schools that he holds in highest esteem.
Tabb has taken an official visit to Iowa but that was the only such trip he has taken this fall.
There's a chance it might be a while before he takes another official, but he could take one as soon as next weekend.
"We've got one more (regular season game) and then the playoffs and our Thanksgiving game," Tabb said. "I'm hoping to go to UNC next Saturday as long as we don't have a playoff game."
That would be an official visit to Chapel Hill and Tabb's second of the process. He said he would like to take an official visit to Michigan the following week, but again, those plans are subject to change.
Tabb went on to say he will be taking all five of his visits, which means two visits remain open to schools in his current top eight, but he isn't sure where he wants to go yet.
