Robinson officially visited Michigan last weekend to put the finishing touches on his recruiting process.
"It was exactly what I expected," he said. "It was a great time and I got to meet the coaches and see the campus. I hung out with the players and went bowling on Saturday night. I hung out with Darryl Stonum from Dulles High School here in Houston a lot.
"They don't have many slot receivers and that's what they are recruiting me for," he said. "I would be the Z receiver."
Robinson lists Michigan, Boston College and Wake Forest as his favorites, and won't tip his hand.
"I plan on announcing my decision Sunday on Channel 2 KPRC in Houston," he said. "I've got a lot of thinking to do before making my decision."
Robinson was a first-team, all-district selection for the Panthers and led them into the playoffs this season as their quarterback. He rushed for over 2,100 yards and scored 25 touchdowns on the ground. After getting his decision out of the way, he will begin training for the upcoming track season.
