T-Rex talks UGA, FSU and more

Terrence Mitchell is one of the most coveted defensive backs in the country. Mitchell, a four-star recruit and a Rivals100 member, is from Hillsborough High School in Tampa. He recently officially visited Georgia for their game against LSU and he came away impressed with the Bulldogs and what they have to offer as a program.
"Oh man, it was a nice visit," Mitchell said. "Actually, I loved it and had a really good time. I got to know the coaches and learn about their academic program. My host was Branden Smith. At Georgia, I would have a chance to step up and play next season. They are short on corners and I would have a chance as a true freshman to play. I also felt comfortable away from football there. I didn't feel out of place. I like the surroundings and it's close to Atlanta. That's a good thing."

Something else important to Mitchell is Orson Charles and Aaron Murray. Both of those players signed with Georgia with this past class and they are from Tampa like Mitchell.
"I hung out with Orson and we had lunch on that Sunday. We talked a lot about school and what's going on in Tampa. He told me all about Georgia and how he likes it there. We talked about academics, tutors and stuff like that."
Georgia has made a huge move with Mitchell. It's good timing with the Dawgs, especially considering what's going on in Tallahassee. At one time, FSU was a pretty big leader for Mitchell.
"What's going on at FSU has raised some eyebrows with me. Of course I am still looking at them but I have backed off them a little bit. I am still looking forward to visiting Florida State. But at this point I really haven't really talked with coach (Lawrence) Dawsey. I have recently talked with their running backs coach."
Mitchell said he will set up an official visit to Tennessee later this week and he wants to visit North Carolina after the season. In addition to visiting FSU, he will also make an official visit to South Florida. Mitchell will attend their home game this Thursday versus Cincinnati.
"I was pretty surprised at the Tennessee/Georgia game this weekend. I thought it would be a big fight between the too. Honestly though I didn't get a chance to watch much of the game. Still, I was a little surprised.
"I am looking forward to going to USF on Thursday. That should be a big game.
"Right now I am open. Georgia grabbed my attention and FSU came back even with everyone else. I am just liking all my schools."
