T-Minus 9 days for Lil Rob
It looks like a timetable has finally been set for Waco, Texas, dual-threat quarterback Robert “Lil Rob” Johnson. According to his mother, the four-star quarterback is set to decide shortly.

“He’s going to announce at his banquet on the 29th,” his mother, Evelyn Johnson, said. “He’s not made up his mind and we’re going to talk to the coaches from both Arkansas and Kansas State one more time before he sits down and makes a decision.”
Many have speculated that since Johnson canceled an in-home visit with Kansas State last week and that his mother took the visit to Fayetteville with him that that Arkansas has a lead in this race. His mother said that’s not exactly true.
“I was only able to make it over to Arkansas,” she said. “This is very much Robert’s decision. I wish I could have gone to K-State, too, but it just didn’t work out.”
Either way, it looks like this elite quarterback is going to have a tough time making a decision, when the time does come.
“He’s not looking forward to it,” she said.
But you can bet that Arkansas and K-State fans are going to be waiting out the next nine days with baited breath.
