T.J. Lawrence visits Florida

Rivals250 wide receiver T.J. Lawrence took an unofficial visit to Florida over the weekend. The 6-foot-0, 185-pounder had a good time. Following the visit, do the Gators lead for his services?
"It was a pretty exciting visit actually," he said. "I got up there around one and it was already packed. We had a hard time finding a place to park. Once I got to the stadium I went on the field and watched the skill players warm-up until the game started. Just before it did, coach Meyer came over and shook my hand."

Lawrence was impressed by the game and atmosphere at the Swamp.
"It was pretty exciting," he said. "The fans never got quiet even when Florida was blowing them out. I'd never seen that before, it usually gets quiet after a while. I'd say my favorite part of the whole experience was when the fans were chanting. One side would yell orange and the other would say blue that was pretty crazy. I liked that a lot and it's one of the toughest places to play. I can see why.
"As for the game, that was impressive too. They had over 500-yards of offense. I liked the fact they used all of their receivers."
Following the game, the four-star prospect went into the Gators locker room.
"It was pretty fun," he said. "They called out every individual and I got to talk to the coaches afterwards. It was pretty cool."
Where does the visit put the Gators in relation to his other finalists, LSU, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Boise State?
"I can't really judge that," he said. "I haven't been anywhere else. It was definitely a plus for Florida. I had a great time."
At this time, Lawrence has no other visits planned official or unofficial in the near future.
